How Ikko Jutsu was developed

Ikko Jutsu is a philosophy or way of life, which combines the grace, incredible power, and respect of the physical techniques with the knowledge, discipline, and control, of the mental techniques. The word Ikko comes from the Japanese  meaning Single-Minded or Private and the word Jutsu meaning Art, Which creates the name Ikko Jutsu meaning Private Art.

Ikko Jutsu was developed in 1995 and after long consideration and years of practice and study Master Fidas has decided to begin teaching this style. Although Ikko Jutsu will always remain a private style  there is a  program available to people who wish to learn and teach this style.

Master Fidas designs a program for every student . The reason for this is that no one  is the same and everyone has disadvantages and advantages. Short, Tall, Skinny, Fat, Weak, Strong have nothing to do with the martial arts.

In martial arts there are internal and external arts but without internal there cannot be external and vice versa. In Ikko-Jutsu you will learn how to develop internal power so you can greatly enhance your external power. All this using a holistic approach.

The martials arts were developed to help average people achieve above average things.

Ikko Jutsu will teach you how to turn your so-called disadvantages into your strong points.

Ikko-Jutsu is not just another mixed martial art. Infact all martial arts are mixed. What this means is that every style has been influenced by another and/or has opinions and expressions from the teacher.

For example. A martial artist who practices Ikko-Jutsu and reaches a level of Instructor will teach the art slighty different from how he/she learned it. That is what make martial arts unique to every practitioner.

Ikko-Jutsu is for serious students only.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ikko-Jutsu means Private Art or Art of Secrecy.
I chose this name because it is generally taught Private or semi-private. Training is very traditional and students are prepared at a very slow pace for the first 6 months. After that They begin a really hardcore strength training program similar to what was done 100's of years ago.
The uniform used is that of kung fu which is confusing for some seeing that the art has a Japanese name but Ikko Jutsu is a mixed martial art that has been influenced by the chinese fighting arts. The reason I called it Ikko Jutsu is because my first exposure to martial arts was kyokushin karate and in respect to it's founder and my late sensei that name was chosen. Terminology is in chinese for the same reasons.
Ikko jutsu was created from my experiences in the following arts: Wing chun,kyokushin,thai boxing,choy lay fut,shaolin hung gar,qigong,Chin Na, DimMak,Iron Palm, and street fighting.
