Master Fidas has trained in various styles of martial arts for the past 25 years and has now decided
to incorporate all he knows into one martial arts system called Ikko-Jutsu.

A personal note from Master Fidas
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I started my training in 1983 in order to learn how to defend myself. I was a skinny little kid who got
pushed around quite a bit.
After training for 3 years I decided this was not just what I liked but who I was. In a very short period
I gained confidence to stand up for myself and most of the time I did not have to fight to prove myself(but I did anyway).
From the age of 12-21 I had studied many different types of martial art systems. I was training in Kyokushin
Karate, Kickboxing, Thai Boxing, Wing Chun, Choy Lay Fut, and Hung Gar all at the same time. Training was typically 5-6hrs
per day and 7 days per week. I had made it more than a part of my life.......it was my life.
In 1992 I decided to start teaching. After getting news that one of my Sifu's (Kai Leung) passed away
I put everything on hold and decided to train myself and a few close students/friends. Between 1992 and 1994 3 of
my teachers passed away. Needless to say I was not at my best during this time. In 1995 I decided to honor all
my instructors living and dead by developing a system that incorporates what I felt were the most effective moves and training
procedures.
At this point the art was nameless. Seeing as I spent 10 years training with these masters I decided that
it would only be logical to spent the next 10 years improving myself and developing the style. I incorporated certain aspects
of this art into my teaching and training during these 10 years.
In 2005 Ikko-Jutsu was born.
A martial art that teaches how to perfect external power by utilizing internal power using a holistic
approach. The result?
An effective fighting system with spiritual guidance. You will develop yourself in everyway when training
in Ikko-jutsu.
A style with no belts and no tournaments you will find that the focus is put on your training and inner
self. Not labels.
Training is done in private with no more than 5 students at a time. There are group sessions available
but they must be prepaid for atleast 6 months in advance.
Ikko-Jutsu is a martial art that is taught very traditionally if you are looking to get a black
belt to impress your friends, a 1st place medal in a competition, or you want to learn how to break bricks...........I suggest
you move on.
BUT
If you are seriously looking to give everything you have to become the best martial artist and person
that you can be
Then I look forward to meeting with you.
